Our 2008 RATES - click  "Houseboat Adventures 2008 RATES".

Our 2008 BROCHURE is still available for download and/or printing from our website - click "2008 BROCHURE".

DEPOSIT - Effective immediately your deposit, less $500, is applied towards your balance due. Five Hundred dollars of the deposit is retained until the end of your vacation and refunded less any fuel and propane used and acts as a damage deposit when you arrive for your houseboat vacation.

We are very proud of 68' model, which was designed and built by Houseboat Adventures. Read all about its special features at Rentals 68' Houseboat. We have highlighted many pictures of the 68' model throughout our website design. We included a virtual tour for you to see for both the 58' and 68' models.

GUESTS - please email us your vacation photos and we will try to incorporate them into our new "Guest Photo Gallery".

At Houseboat Adventures we are environmentally conscience. In keeping with our commitment to keep our lake as clean as possible we have installed grey water holding tanks and carry 300-gallons of purified City water for bathing and cooking on the 44', 49SP, 58' and 68' houseboats. This means no "grey" water from showers or kitchen sink, will go into our beautiful lake. It is pumped out at our dock into the City of Kenora sewer system for proper treatment.

Please contact us at info@houseboatadventures.com , if you are not on our mailing list and would like to receive our brochure in the mail, or click "Print Brochure" to have an instant version.

Newest features for our houseboats:

The 40' house boat underwent a major face lift on the interior. We are very pleased with the new look of "Bravo".

Our 44's houseboats all had an interior renovation, which includes new flooring, counter tops, sinks and faucets in the kitchen and bathroom. The old counter top stoves were replaced with new floor models allowing us room to modify the cupboards above the stove to mount an exhaust fan and microwave. We also modified some of the lower cabinets to allow easier access. The dinettes have been reupholstered to match the sofas. We also installed some new 110v lighting, which provides an exceptionally bright cabin while the generator is being run for other things such as charging the batteries.

The modifications to our 58' houseboat  have been completed. We have an addition on to the rear deck and new flooring throughout the houseboat.  We replaced the 2 propane fridges with one 20 cu. ft. electric fridge and modified the houseboat to contain a full 110 volt electric system.

You may be curious as to why we have a helicopter landing on our 68' houseboat. First of all, yes, it is a real helicopter, not one superimposed onto the houseboat. And, we really were there watching it land. It was quite a sight! The houseboat was designed to accommodate a helicopter landing; and it was exciting to put the design work to the test. We extend our thanks to Murray and Gary at Canadian Home Rotors Inc. for their expertise and assistance. CHR Inc. is in the business of building kit helicopters and if you would like to know more about them you could find them on the internet at www.acehelicopter.com.

Thank you for visiting our site. We will continue to enhance our new website with more photos.  We welcome your comments.
