Over the years we have welcomed groups of fishermen and hunters, honeymoon couples, friends and families; people celebrating anniversaries, reunions, birthday surprises and more. A house boat gives you flexibility - stay at the same beach all week, or cruise to another site every day or two to explore a new location; the choice is yours.
You cannot beat houseboating for a family vacation. There is something to do for everyone - cruise to a sand beach and the children can play till their hearts content. Mother Nature has given Lake of the Woods some great beaches and we have marked many of them for our guests. There are literally thousands of islands to explore. Water-skiing, tubing, swimming, crayfish gathering, hiking, canoeing, sunbathing, scuba diving, snorkeling or fishing are just some of the family activities to enjoy. Some of our boats are equipped with water-slides, which are very popular, even for the "big kids". At nighttime enjoy the sunset, make a campfire, roast- marshmallows, tell stories or view the spectacular Northern Lights, if you are lucky. Oh, and did we mention the fishing?
For the fisherman, traveling in a houseboat means there are no more long boat trips to and from the best fishing holes. You can indulge yourself by having a sandy beach and your own fishing boat right at your doorstep; fish morning, afternoon or evening. Cast off the back deck, your morning coffee in hand with the calm quiet waters before you and view the spectacular sunrise. Fish for walleye, bass, muskie, or northern pike just to name a few species that are abundant on Lake of the Woods.
For the hunting enthusiast you will find white-tailed deer, moose, black bear and ducks.

We are located in Central Canada, Kenora, Ontario, a 2 1/2 hour drive north of International Falls Minnesota and, just inside the Ontario/Manitoba border, a 2-hour drive east of Winnipeg, Manitoba and situated in the heart of Ontario's Sunset Country.

We provide our guests with a complete package of information to assist them in planning their Houseboat Adventure.
